UB40 Featuring Ali, Astro & Mickey – 40th Anniversary Tour

English reggae and pop band UB40 are flying back down under in February next year for the ‘A Real Labour Of Love & 40th Anniversary Tour’. The Australian tour will see original members Ali Campbell, Mickey Virtue and Astro performing their greatest classics for fans in the Gold Coast, Perth and Dunsborough. The band will also be playing in New Zealand with shows in Napier, Waitangi, Nelson, Christchurch and Palmerston North on top of their One Love Festival 2019 set in Tauranga.

The legendary band released ‘A Real Labour Of Love’ earlier this year. Dubbed as their most successful album in 25 years, the album reached #2 on the UK Album Chart and #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart. It is also the band’s highest chart entry since 1993’s #1 'Promises and Lies'. It has also received 4-star reviews in the Daily Mail and Daily Star who said it “crackles with the energy of their classics.”

With 2019 marking 40 years since UB40 first performed live, the famed reggae band will be celebrating with a greatest hits set that features global smashes like ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Cherry Oh Baby’, ‘Rat In Mi Kitchen’ and ‘Kingston Town’. Ali, Astro & Mickey will be joined on-stage by their incredible eight-piece reggae band.
