Multi-awarded singer-songwriter Rob Thomas is making a very welcome return down under this November as part of his 'Chip Tooth Tour'. He will be launching the Aussie leg at Canberra's AIS Arena, then will head to the International Convention Centre in Sydney and Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne before the culminating outdoor show at the Kings Park & Botanic Garden in Perth. In between these dates, Rob willl be playing four winery concerts for A Day On The Green happening at Yarra Valley's Rochford Wines, McLaren Vale's Leconfield Wines, Hunter Valley's Bimbadgen Estate and Brisbane's Sirromet Winery.
Rob Thomas is no doubt one of the most distinctive artists of this or any other era. He is a gifted vocalist, spell-binding performer and an acclaimed songwriter known across the globe as the lead singer and primary composer of Matchbox Twenty, as well as for his multi-platinum solo work and chart-topping collaborations. As a songwriter and collaborator, he has sold over 80 million records worldwide.
His visit in November will give fans a dynamic show of huge hits and favourites plucked from his over 30-year career, as well as a tasting of new tracks lifted from his fourth studio album 'Chip Tooth Smile'. Among his numerous hits are solo classics like 'Lonely No More', 'This Is How A Heart Breaks', and 'Streetcorner Symphony' while Matchbox Twenty favourites include 'Push', '3AM', 'If You're Gone and Bent', as well as 'Smooth', his worldwide smash hit collaboration with Santana.
Joining Rob as special guests are some of Australia's most popular singer-songwriters—Pete Murray, Daryl Braithwaite, Russell Morris and Emily Wurramara. They will help smash the stage with their own strings of hits. (Please check individual listings to see which shows they will be appearing on).
