Two of the world's biggest names in rock music - Santana and Steve Miller Band - have announced they'll take the stage together for a series of shows in March next year, coincinding with three major festival appearances.
The announcement follows lineup news from Byron Bay Bluesfest, West Coast Blues 'n' Roots and the east coast's brand new blues 'n' roots enterprise, Deni Blues 'n' Roots Festival, each of which feature Santana and Steve Miller Band on the bill.
And just when you thought Bluesfest were done with their (pretty gosh darn amazing) lineup announcements, they've thrown another batch of bands our way. This time it's Counting Crows, Ben Harper and The Lumineers on top of the list to join the festival's legendary headliners Paul Simon and Robert Plant (check back with the event page for the full lineup and other details).
Along with these festival appearances, the Santana and Steve Miller Band tour will include shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. Tickets for the shows go on sale to the general public on December 7.
